Welcome to our experience at the CCCA's 50th party and car show! There were 100 fantastic Classics of the highest caliber! If you missed this one, or were there and want to relive it on the internet, please sit back, relax, put your feet up and enjoy. Be patient .. Start the download and go get a cup of Java ... We will have about 200 photos (all taken by Doc Hemp) on several pages that are set up for 21" monitors. If you have less than at least a 17" monitor things may look very large.

Becky and I are recent members of the NorCal region of the CCCA .. and have only rejoined the CCCA about 3 years ago after having been members from 1973 to 1978. This is our first CCCA meeting ever. Hopefully this web page project can be our small contribution to this wonderful club. We would like to thank all the many members of the CCCA & NorCal Region that make such a complex meeting as this happen.

Before we left, I rolled under Blackie and cleaned one wheel from behind, said "The heck with this!" .. And changed from judge to exhibit only .... (grin) .... Blackie did score 100 pts at a local area concours last year though .. One of only 2 cars out of over 200 to do so, (know it's not the same .. But it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick - grin) ... Please CLICK HEREFor a personal note from "Blackie" himself!

We left at dawn (see photo page) and arrived in San Jose about 11 A.M. Wed morning .... The written instructions were perfect! .. We drove right up to the door and were met by Vic Nelson and Bob Williams the classic car field layout team ... What a fine job they did!! Many many hours of planning to get these cars into this small area. The trailer parking was also very organized!
We brought "Blackie" down, at his insistence, to see all his old friends! .... Blackie has Senior #2111 .. He had the Packard Girl & top hat, trunk exhibit ... With the slogan, my wife Becky, came up with many years ago ... "Ask the Woman that Knows the Man that Owns One!"
