Doc, Becky & Sydney Iris Do a Steam Train Ride

June 10 - 2007 .... Becky and I took our grand daughter Syndey Iris Delker with us on a day adventure up to Yreka CA to ride the Yreka Western Steam Railroad (The Blue Goose). Here are photos of our trip. Please add this stop to your rail fan plans as we must all work together to support and preserve as much steam train history as possible.
Our engineer (and owner) was Cort Hammond. The fireman was Bill Ainsworth and the conductor was Roger Titus
All our sites are noncommercial and info only.
8/26/09 UPDATE .. Sorry to report that the Blue Goose sold it's last steam engine.
They only run the diesel now when open.

This shot is taken from the same place from the moving train with my 1000mm Mavica Sony digital camera with the steady shot on as was the previous shot. I wish they made this camera today with the higher megpixels. I have taken many thousands of photos with it and have had Sony rebuild it once already.
