I Just brought up the club web site and noticed for the first time that there is a new page on the CCCA Museum. It's pretty cool. Hopefully they will get some new members.

Having said that, imagine my surprise when I got to the bottom of the page and had three choices. I wasn't surprised about the choices but when I clicked on # 2 - Return to CCCA's Official Web Site, I was surprised to see a notice pop up saying "You are not authorized to view this page."

Is this a problem with just my PC or are other people experiencing the same problem?

>>>>>>>>>>>> Yes .. I had all these web site addresses wrong ... had .com instead of .org .... is now fixed ...
Enjoy,

Hi Doc,
I wanted to thank you for having a website on the Internet that shows your fantastic car. I've always dreamed of owning a Packard even as a little boy I used to buy Hemming Motor News and pine after the Packards especially the 1930's era. I would have to say, I don't believe that their is a Packard in existence that matches the pizzazz and elegance that yours does.

I acquired Crohns Disease when I was in my mid 20's and it robs me of my energy and ability to work on or own one of these fantastic cars, so I just admire them in photos and dream of owning one.

Thanks again Doc for providing the pictures and info on your great car.

CCCA Museum Page ......... Okay .... finally finished it ... wanted to be sure it was clear it was the unofficial page and we were just helping out with the publicity ... the official page is great and I didn't want to act like I was competing with it ....

Thanks Dave,

It's funny, I brought my digital camera, and really intended to take some pictures for the web site. I never got it out of my briefcase.

I'm glad you were there.

Dave,

I've had a bunch of very positive comments about your photo web page. You really did get some great shots!

Thanks for doing it. I hope next time we see each other we have a little more time to visit. I don't know about you, but for me, these Annual Meetings are best described as "Sleep Depravation Weekends."

Doc,

The 6th down picture is Paul Williams with his 33 Packard. He is a member of the Nor-Cal board and is in charge of activities.
I agree, a trip up to your place in 2003 would be a great overnighter.
I am planning a week long trip for Nor-Cal CCCA in April. We will drive to LA (modern car allowed) on the 16th, visit Otis Chandlers and Nethercutt's museum on Wednesday, visit Leno's and Peterson's museum on Thursday, drive to Rancho Santa Fe on Friday and go to the Spring Grand Classic on Saturday.

Hi Doc,
Wow. Your very own steam engine! How super! Don't think I mentioned that my Dad was a locomotive engineer (for the Chicago & North Western for 44 years). So I grew up "on the railroad" -- my sister and I even had a ride in the cab of a locomotive, and since I was the older sister, I got the privilege of pulling the whistle and yelling "high ball"! Needless to say, our trip was quite illegal. But nobody ever "leaked" to higher authority.
Heigh ho,
Bev

Hi Doc,
Super meeting you at the Annual Meeting! Absolutely, I'll make a mention of your 50th Anniversary web site in the February Bulletin. Bulletin will be in the mail mid-month. Some folks might be out of town and won't get to reading it for a few weeks. How long will you keep the 50th Anniversary on your site?

Hello David:

Yes, your registration has been received. I just received a current list from Dean Scott this afternoon. Dean, a NorCal Board Member, is recording the reservations for Ed Gunther, Coordinator of the 50th Anniversary Annual meeting and celeebration. Dean will be sending out confirmations soon and I am sorry that you were concerned and can easily understand. I will tell Dean about it and that we have to move on this.

Fortunately, we have received alot of registrations so it will be quite a task. We also need to provide instructions for car owners as well.

I am delighted that you are bringing your Packard - dual cowls are such beautiful cars, and am looking forward to meeting you at the meeting.

I am also glad to know that you like our website. It was set up by the husband of our Associate Editor of our newsletter, the new issue of which will be in the mail in a couple of days.
